Lauren Miller has been with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for eight years and currently serves as the Membership Specialist. In her role, Lauren oversees all aspects of AVCA membership, including membership services, profile updates, affiliate payments, registrations, Convention questions and registration, At The Net articles, Junior Volleyball Association (JVA)/AVCA dual membership questions and payments, invoices and finance inquiries, and general membership support.

Prior to joining the AVCA, Lauren built more than 13 years of experience in communications, customer service, management, and teaching. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Organizational Communication and Marketing from the University of Kentucky, where she was actively involved in Club Softball and Greek Life. After graduating, Lauren headed south to Alabama continue her education and expand her professional experience.

Outside of the office, Lauren has never been one to sit still. She competes in downhill ski racing, is an avid world traveler who has visited 37 countries, and continues to play softball, kickball, and volleyball in adult intramural leagues each week.

And, of course, Lauren is proudly still in her Dog Mom Era! She shares life with her Corgi and Chihuahua.
