AVCA NAIA Coach of the Year
TRISH SIEDLIK, BELLEVUE UNIVERSITY
- Siedlik caps a great 2024 season by earning National Coach of the Year honors.
- She led the Bruins to a historic run in the NAIA Volleyball National Championship, which resulted in the school’s first-ever appearance in the final.
- Her team finished 32-5, which is the highest single-season win total in more than a decade for the Bruins.
- The 32 wins pushed her career victory total to 550 in her 19 seasons at Bellevue.
- She was coached 27 NAIA All-Americans, including two first-teamers and two honorable mention selections this season.
AVCA NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year
DAN BERGREN, INDIANA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY
- Bergren, who joined the Indiana Wesleyan coaching staff in 2018, helped the school to its second-straight NAIA national title.
- The Wildcats rallied for an epic five-set win over Bellevue in the 2024 NAIA Championship, and they have a 75-2 record across the past two seasons.
- After picking up Crossroads Conference Assistant Coach of the Year honors three times, this is his first national Assistant Coach of the Year award.
- He also has worked for the Munciana Volleyball Club since 2009.
