TIA BRANDEL-WILHELM, FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY
- The veteran coach has led her team to a 34-0 record entering the NCAA Championship quarterfinals.
- Her squad won both the GLIAC regular-season title and the school’s 10th tournament championship in the past 11 seasons.
- She led the Bulldogs to their first Division II Midwest Regional championship since 2013.
- This is the first time Brandel-Wilhelm has earned National Coach of the Year honors.
- She is in her 29th season as head coach at Ferris State.

KOLBY KANETAKE, CHAMINADE UNIVERSITY
- He is in his fifth year at Chaminade, assisting in all aspects of running the program including practices, scouting reports, recruiting, scholarship allocation and academic success.
- He helped the 2024 team go 28-5, including a perfect 20-0 mark in PacWest Conference play.
- The Silverswords reached No. 4 in the AVCA Division II poll, which is the school’s highest-ever rank.
- He was a 2021-22 AVCA 30 Under 30 recipient.
- He is a former All-America libero at the University of Hawai’i.
