Watch as AVCA 2022 Thirty Under 30 High School Award recipient and Vista Ridge High School Girls Volleyball Head Coach Kayla Allen explains the “Controlled Chaos Hitting Drill.” This multi-purpose drill simultaneously works on middle blocker connection with setters and out of system hitting with pins and liberoes. Focuses are transition off the block for the middle and being an offensive option as well as outside and right side hitters staying aggressive on a second ball that is not from target.

Mira Costa (CA) kept the top spot, and Mater Dei (CA) moves up to No. 2. Punahou (HI) vaulted from No. 24 to No. 18 this week, and No. 19 Carrollwood Day (FL) and No. 25 Valor Christian (CO) enter the rankings for the first time this season.
