To join the Men’s Collegiate Beach Volleyball Alliance an active member coach of the AVCA must complete the registration information. The nominating coach serves as the official representative for all men’s collegiate beach activities at the college.
The path to the AVP League goes through Huntington Beach, Manhattan Beach and Chicago. Shortly after Chicago, the AVP will have its inaugural draft and launch in September with the AVP League Championship in November. Read more
Beach ACE is back! Ecological Dynamics & Intro to Modern Learning – 3 Part Beach ACE Series
Beach ACE is offered to AVCA and IBVCA current members. Beach ACE sessions are one-hour live virtual sessions that serve as a platform for coaches to showcase their research, share their experiential learnings, and present approaches to advancing the game.
Developing a Beach Program with the Club Dual Format
After focusing on its indoor program for more than 13 years, Grand Strand Juniors is making new investments in a beach program. Club Director Alex Sing notes “It’s funny how things go full circle. GSJ was started by a bunch of beach players. Only a few of our coaches had indoor coaching experience. We were learning on the job. Now we are very excited to get our kids in the sand, and more specifically in the club dual beach tournaments.” Read more
Beach Championship Returns to Fort Lauderdale in July
The nation’s top junior volleyball athletes will once again take to Fort Lauderdale Beach and compete for a title at the 2024 USA Volleyball Beach National Championship.
The tournament will run July 12-17 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An NTDP Beach Accelerator will take place July 11 before competition begins. Read more
