Webinar | Lessons From The Theatre & Driver Ed – How to Train High-Level Decision Making on the Court
This game is complicated. Doing ""what coach said"" can only take a player so far, and it is clear that great players go beyond this mindset. We can take lessons from the worlds of acting and driving in order to understand how to develop this higher-level decision making on the court. From defensive movement to attacking choices, we can help our players identify their options and make a confident decision.
Objectives:
1. Develop a framework for discussing high-level decision making with your athletes
2. Encourage autonomy & creativity from your athletes within your offensive & defensive systems
3. Learn how to draw parallels from other disciplines in order to have your athletes view the game through a new lens
