Building a New Program
The game of volleyball continues to grow, and thanks to the work of First Point Volleyball Foundation, we welcome the start of brand-new programs at all levels. Like any "new construction project" there are challenges along the way - both known and unknown, which can influence initial success. This panel will provide insight into some of the critical decisions that can set your program up for success. Topics will include navigating the myriad of decisions that need to be made in the beginning stages of creating a program, developing a framework of "systems" to consider when building a program, and the personal qualities of the "general contractor" that can coordinate and integrate the various tasks needed to build a program.
