Integrating Mental Strength Training into Your Game Plan
The role of mindset in sports is well-documented and constantly referenced - especially in the biggest moments. As a coach, YOU will determine your team’s approach to training the mental aspect of the game. You are already familiar with the concepts, but making it a priority and part of your player development can be intimidating if you don’t know how to get started. Finding time in your practice plan and staying consistent is also challenging, and it can be hard to know if you are doing it right. This session is a great opportunity to hear from and interact with distinguished coaches and mindset experts about how they have integrated aspects of mental strength training into their practice day, game day, and off-day routines. You will hear them describe the challenges of getting started, staying consistent, and discovering what works best for them and each of their athletes. Best of all, it will be a chance to spend some time thinking about the part of the game that can give your athletes healthy habits for life.
