A dependable Director of Volleyball Operations makes a huge impact on a program. While a very rewarding role, year one as a DOVO can be extremely challenging. Specific tasks and expectations vary from team to team, but all require intangible skills that help with organization, communication, and overall effectiveness. This workshop aims to recognize the various challenges of stepping into the role of a DOVO and present strategies to overcome them. It will also touch on the slightly unique experience as a Director of Operations for beach volleyball and provide an opportunity for others to share their own tips, tricks, and secrets to success.
