Mastering the Net: Advanced Block Movement and Strategies

Blocking is one of the most difficult things in volleyball. Trying to block everything is the best way to block nothing. It's crucial to teach our players how to use the ''optional block process'' based on observation and memorization of past opponent actions. Players have to develop their biomechanical skill movement by using 3 or 2 or 1 step moves depending on each situation: ''In-sys, Out-sys, Mi-sys'' By simulating clear and identifiable situations I will explain what is the best way to optimize your block move and to increase your chance to block/touch the opponent. There are multiple different blocking situations, so the players have to generate multiple answers matching every different scenario. Using the right technical movement appropriate in each situation is the key. I will show what keys you should use to unlock each different situation.
