The Best (Transition) Offense is a Great Defense! Strategies and techniques for defensive excellence
Championship volleyball teams are typically known for their great defense! Highly competitive defensive units are a combination of individual technique, defensive strategies, and tactics designed to counter the offensive systems teams face at their level of play. Coach Sayles and his staff will highlight key components of successful defense through discussions and drills crafted to create a championship-level defensive unit. Objectives: Participants will learn how to apply appropriate techniques critical to the individual components of defense (serving, blocking, floor defense). Participants will have the opportunity to analyze and reconstruct more effective defensive strategies necessary for a successful defense. Participants will leave with specific defensive strategies and tactics to guide them in creating a championship defensive program.
