Transfers and transfer waivers have returned to the spotlight this fall with the launch of new waiver guidelines approved by the NCAA Division I Council, which is made up of campus and conference personnel. The Committee for Legislative Relief, which oversees the waiver process, would like to provide some insight into transfer and transfer waiver facts and figures; remind winter and spring sport coaches, including basketball coaches, of the waiver guidelines; and urge all schools that feel they have a case warranting relief to submit waivers as early as possible...
