NORTH CAROLINA (AUGUST 10, 2026) – 2026-27 NCVBCA Players to Watch List nominations are open now until Friday, August 21, 2026. Awards will be selected in each NCHSAA school classification.
- Each varsity head coach can nominate UP TO THREE (3) eligible student-athletes.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior student-athletes from NCHSAA member schools are eligible.
- Coaches must be an NCVBCA/AVCA active member, and from a NCHSAA member school to nominate.

2026-27 NCVBCA Girls Volleyball Awards Timeline
- August 10-21: Players to Watch List Nominations
- August 27: Players to Watch List Announcement
- October 12-16: All-Region & Coach of the Year Nominations
- October 26: All-Region Announcement
- Oct. 26 – Nov. 2: All-State/ Player of the Year Voting, and Coach of the Year Voting
- November 9: All-State Announcement
- November 16: Player of the Year and Coach of the Year Announcement
NCVBCA/AVCA membership is required to nominate & receive NCVBCA & AVCA awards.
