NCVBCA Watch List
Each fall, the North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association (NCVBCA) recognizes All-Region Teams. The Watch List recognizes athletes nominated by NCVBCA varsity volleyball head coaches from throughout the state for their outstanding volleyball play.
The Watch List sets the stage for the NCVBCA All-Region, All-State, and Player of the Year awards named later in the fall. To be eligible for NCVBCA awards, athletes must attend a NCHSAA member school and be nominated by a NCVBCA active member coach.

NCVBCA/AVCA membership is required to nominate & receive NCVBCA & AVCA awards.
NCVBCA Watch List Announcement
RALEIGH, NC (AUGUST 26, 2026) – The North Carolina Volleyball Coaches Association (NCVBCA) is pleased to announce its 2026-27 NCVBCA Players to Watch List(opens in new tab). This year's Watch List honors 263 student-athletes from high schools throughout the state. These athletes were nominated by North Carolina high school varsity volleyball head coaches.
The Watch List sets the stage for the NCVBCA All-Region, All-State and Player of the Year awards programs with nominations opening October 12.

NCVBCA Watch List Nominations
2026-27 NCVBCA Players to Watch List nominations(opens in new tab) are open August 10-24, 2026 (EXTENDED DEADLINE). Awards will be selected by class.
- Each varsity head coach can nominate UP TO THREE (3) eligible student-athletes.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior student-athletes from NCHSAA member schools are eligible.
- Coaches must be an NCVBCA/AVCA active member, and from a NCHSAA member school to nominate.
