The AVCA is proud to name its 2024 Thirty Under 30 High School Awards recipients. This year’s 30 high school recipients are a diverse group, representing 24 different states. They serve in a variety of roles, ranging from varsity and JV coaches to girls and boys coaches.
The AVCA is proud to announce the 19th annual AVCA Girls High School All-America Teams. Twenty-five athletes were named to the AVCA All-America First Team, forty-eight were named to the Second and Third Teams, and 120 athletes were named Honorable Mention All-America. For the first time ever, All-America nominations were opened up to underclassmen.
The 2024-25 Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association (AHVCA) All-State, Player of the Year and Coach of the Year (listed below) awards were announced on Monday, November 4.

The AVCA-USMC Battles Won Award recognizes volleyball players and coaches who are overcoming obstacles on and off the court. The AVCA is proud to present the stories of 16 individuals—six coaches and 10 players—in the volleyball community who have faced hardships and come back strong. These stories include the following high school players and coaches:
