Good Sportsmanship has the Power to Inspire
#InspireSportsmanship is a new campaign launched March 2024, through the AVCA High School Leadership Council that spotlights stories of girls and boys volleyball players, coaches and teams displaying exceptional sportsmanship. Unsportsmanlike acts spread further and faster than acts of kindness, humility, and corporation. That is why it is more important than ever to teach and spotlight good sportsmanship to inspire others.
As of April 2024, the AVCA is proud to have received 30 stories of inspirational sportsmanship in volleyball from throughout the nation. These stories along with others submitted in the future will be showcased in the Affiliations eNewsletter, AVCA website, and social media in partnership with the AVCA’s Signature Affiliate, Affiliate and Membership Organization high school partner associations. For more information, please contact Tara McGuire, AVCA Membership & Communications Specialist.
