Zach Weinberg was elected to the AVCA Board of Directors in the fall of 2022 and began serving as Assistant Coaches Representative on January 1, 2023. This board seat is charged with leading the Assistant Coaches Committee and serving all Assistant Coach members. Zach’s goals for his term include:
Raise assistant coach membership to the AVCA.
Use my voice and board position to be an advocate for assistant coaches across America and make myself very accessible to whoever needs me
Grow the Assistant Coach Committee to include high school members
Continue to allow the Assistant Coach Committee to be a great networking tool, helping assistant coaches connect with their peers and ultimately become head coaches (if they choose to pursue that route)
