Brad Wilson is the Director of Men’s and Boys Volleyball and AVCA Awards. Brad is focused on the growth and support of men and boys volleyball opportunities to play and compete through advocacy, research, and direct correspondence. Brad manages a biweekly newsletter called The BIC, focused specifically on news and information regarding the men and boys game. Brad also manages the AVCA’s vast amount of award and recognition opportunities highlighted by AVCA All-American, Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and Hall of Fame.
Prior to the AVCA, Brad gained athletics management experience at the Houston Astros, Texas A&M Athletics, TCU Athletics, and IMG College. Brad earned a Bachelors of Arts in Economics at the University of Kentucky and a Masters in Sports Management at Texas A&M.
Brad is an avid volleyball player having played varsity in high school and club in college. Brad continues to play about twice-a-week in adult leagues around Lexington, Kentucky.
