Kennedy Wells is the Director of Membership, Research & Board Relations at the American Volleyball Coaches Association.  His responsibilities include engaging the volleyball community to grow new membership and retain current members.  He oversees the AVCA’s membership initiatives – the AVCA Affiliate Partner program, the AVCA Signature Affiliate Partner program, and the AVCA Member Organization program.  Additional areas of focus include serving as the liaison to the AVCA board of directors as well as the Two-Year College Head Coaches Committee and the AVCA Diversity Development Team.  Kennedy also collaborates with AVCA staff to conduct surveys and research on behalf of the Association.

Kennedy joined the AVCA in March of 2015.

Kennedy has 16 years’ experience as a membership director and worked in the retail space for 12 years prior to that.  Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Kentucky University as well as a Master of Science in Kinesiology-Sports Management from EKU as well.
