Curtis Madson was appointed as the replacement for Kyle Exline on December 2, 2024, due to Kyle being ineligible for the role when he accepted a coaching position with Loyola (IL) men’s volleyball. Curtis began serving as the NCAA DIII Men’s Representative on January 1, 2025. This board seat is charged with leading the DIII Men’s Head Coaches Committee and serving all DIII Men’s member coaches. Curtis’s goals for his term include:
To support the growth of men’s volleyball at the D3 level and across the sport
To help coaches create a valuable experience for their athletes
To expand the opportunities for coaches to connect with one another and build bonds across the college landscape
To provide a voice for AVCA coaches as they advocate for positive change in the sport
If there are other issues you think the AVCA should be focusing on at the DIII Men’s level, please contact Curtis or AVCA Men’s staff liaison, Brad Wilson.
